Right on Track - The Griswolds

Today, The Griswolds released a new music video with the support of #JDFutureLegends. This song is an awesome waterfall of mesmerizing synths. The lyrics are just about going after your dreams no matter what is in your way. This music video looked like lots of fun to film a party on a boat. It's the perfect amount of showing them playing the music, party time, and a little entertaining story with all of them transforming from business dudes to cool dudes. And who threw a boat party and didn't invite me?

Dance Hall - Modest Mouse

This song is great because it just has that f**k everything feeling. We're going to Dance Hall. Problem? I thought not. The singer sounds aggressive and there aren't that many lyrics but did there need to be anymore? It still managed to get you to tap your foot. It's that infectious.

Firefly Lineup Announcement

The lineup for Firefly Music Festival has finally been announced today! The lineup looks so amazing this year! I'll be there! I can't wait to see so many of these bands including Cage The Elephant, The Kooks, WALK THE MOON, Bad Suns, The Griswolds, Modest Mouse and so many more! Also, I made a Spotify playlist composed of every song made by every artist going to Firefly. It ended up being 221 hours long but I may post a link to find it on Spotify.

Somebody Told Me - The Killers

Somebody Told Me is a classic that no one can get over. This is a song that could not possibly get old. The sound is fast and the chorus is almost a tongue twisting puzzle. All I can say, this guy is winning the breakup and letting his ex know. I can only hope to have something as awesome to say to an ex when I see them. This is for all those people who tried to tell me that they've never heard it before! Please stop listening to country for one second cause you're beginning to miss out on some actual good music!

Sidekick - WALK THE MOON

Hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine's day! Or Galentine's day! Or Dudentine's day! (Please tell me that's a thing.) This guitar is just screaming prepare for a good time cause that's what you're about to get. The synthesized sounds WALK THE MOON uses are great. I love the new sound they went for on their new album. This song is  about getting out of the friend zone, at least that's the impression the lyrics give me. I'm sorry, but no one could friend zone any of the guys in WALK THE MOON.

EP of the Week - Raw Fabrics - Gold Handcuffs

EP of the week is Gold Handcuffs by Raw Fabrics. Raw Fabrics is the type of band that is bringing back a slightly aged type of rock. Their lead singer, Jack Franco, has the type of voice that turns off some but draws some in like me. He's entertaining and puts his attitude into his song. Their background rifts are some of the best and catchiest choruses I have heard. They're 100% worth a listen as they're an up and coming band. Their music videos are interesting and symbolic. Definitely watch Down the Drain and Pissin' on the Dancefloor. Their other great song is Gold Handcuffs, mostly because now I say "oh my god" a little bit more than I should.

The Griswolds' Commentary on Be Impressive Release

This week, The Griswolds released their commentary on their album Be Impressive on Spotify. Even if it may not be what you usually listen to, I suggest your to check it out because it really is quite interesting to hear all the thoughts and details that went on in the guy's heads as they write some of my favorite songs. Also, if you haven't already, go check out their tour dates for their tour in America with WALK THE MOON. They're selling out quick! I don't think anyone wants to miss out on seeing this tour!
