Take It or Leave It - Great Good Fine Ok

I love this beat. They are upbeat and dance yet they keep it under control in a way that you can still listen to this song to chill out. I actually love Jon Sandler's high pitch voice in the song. The beginning is nice as an almost drowned out version of the rest of the song and then seems to start out like a normal song but then goes into their own unique style that is highly mixed and refreshing.

F**ked Up - Young Rising Sons

F**ked Up keeps to Young Rising Son's tune but in a way seems to pick up a slight more boy band-ish mood. Maybe in the way the lyrics sound like he's taking care of someone seems to remind me of a Five Seconds of Summer single. I still love the voice jumps in the chorus which has a good feel that is usually put out by this band. The music video is just a usual mix of them being on tour but is still entertaining.

Molecules - Atlas Genius

I do not really think it is worth it to watch the music video for more than ten seconds but it should be pretty important to listen to the lyrics. There's a reason Keith Jeffery is so clear. Those lyrics are interesting and also passing out some words to live by, or at least to get tattooed on your body. The music sounds like Atlas Genius in almost every way. It takes on a new twist but mostly sticks to their style

Let's Make A Lot Of Money - Junior Prom

You can never expect what Junior Prom will do next. They make each song its own and they never blend together like a melting pot of one good band. Instead, each song stands out on its own and so does this song. The most consistent feature is Mark Solomich's voice. He sounds almost like he should be in a more classical rock band which seems to anchor their unique sounds. Their lyric video is unique and interesting. I can not wait for this band's new album coming out soon!

Driving Through A Dream - Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness

This song is calming to me but i like how Andrew McMahon mentioned that it was about not being able to sleep at night because of the ideas one gets. This is just a relatable idea to any creative type especially if they produce their best work at night. It is just a soothing song and the piano is not entirely too strong throughout it but as it becomes stronger at the end, it is a fantastic detail.

Band of the Week - Grouplove

The Band of the Week this week is GrouploveGrouplove is an amazing band. Their lead singer does not have a particularly conventionally pleasant voice but he makes it work in a way that makes him awesome. They find a way to make beautiful music while at the same time making fun music for parties and just good times. Hannah Hooper's creates a nice balance for their songs as she straight up has a sweet voice which can be an advantage for them compared to bands that are composed of all guys. You probably have heard their songs Tongue TiedShark Attack and I'm With You (if not, go listen now). I suggest giving a listen to Beans On PizzaBitin' The Bullet and Schoolboy.

15 Dreams - New Politics

The beginning is chaotic to snatch your attention without question so that they can transition over into a fast paced yet dreamy and pleasant rap. This is just an amazing motivator. This as to be my favorite single of theirs that they have released. Their sound seems to change a bit for every album and this song makes me so excited for them to release Vikings. I actually feel like this song is a great motivator to follow your dreams, to chase after them but to also take a step back and remember what you are running after.

Magic Man Breakup Announcement

I have some bad news. This week, Magic Man posted on their Facebook that three of their members will be leaving. Those band members are Gabe Goodman, Joey Sulkowski, and Justine Bowe. This does not seem to be a bad breakup for the band and more of just a split of ways with no hard feelings. The remaining band members, Alex Caplow and Sam Vanderhoop Lee are sticking together and still writing their next new album which I'm will be excited to hear because you can but down their size but you can't take the magic out of Magic Man!

Miracle Mile - Cold War Kids

This piano sounds angry but gets you started on the required head bobbing before the chorus where the drums hop in and make the song explode. The lead singer, Nathan Willet, does not necessarily have a pleasant singing voice. For a man, it sounds slightly whiny but if he sang perfectly that would make him a boring pop singer. This way, he has his style with his slightly rough persona he maintains on stage. he softens up for there bridge though and the song is great throughout the chorus.

WALK THE MOON Concert Review

 Eli Maiman on guitar
Nick Petricca on lead vocals and keyboard
 Kevin Ray on base
(Take notice of the blurry figure above the phone. Lead singer of The Griswolds viewing Nick Petricca kill it.)
 Preaching harmony and brotherhood
 Crowd walking

Kevin Bae in a zombie apocalypse
WALK THE MOON put on a great performance! They kicked off their show with Different Colors which is appropriate because it is also the first song on their new album Talking Is Hard which their tour is named after. It pumps everyone up and is great because it keeps everyone excited enough that they can slow it down for some songs like Aquaman and people are still about to jump out of their socks. They play every song off of their new album and of course plenty of the older goodies. Nick Petricca also took some time out of the show to preach about the fandom that you are welcomed into by becoming a fan. While it makes me think that for every young fan that they have, they are a wonderful influence. But it was awkward for my friend i brought along who will never let me hear the end of how I had brought her to a cult meeting without telling her. I was actually kind of shocked that they seemed to portray jenny as an angry song. I always just thought it was about Jenny is being sexy. I mean, she's got a body just like an hourglass. of course they tried to end on Shut Up and Dance but the fans were having none of that. WALK THE MOON is not allowed to leave the stage without singing Anna Sun so of course they came back for a great encore that included a cover of All These Things I've Done by The Killers. It was a great tour with a great band. I can't wait to see them again at Firefly Music Festival!

anywayican - WALK THE MOON

anywayican has to be my favorite song off of the Tightrope EP. It has an even drum beat that makes it have a more tribal sound before it smooths into the fast chorus that makes it feel as if the singer is chasing in circles. The lyrical story also is cute to me because it just seems kind of ridiculous yet relatable at the same time. The title fits it perfectly because the line "any way I can" is said so quickly and it just seems to easily roll off of the tongue.

West End Kids - New Politics

We have all been waiting so long for New Politics's new album which I thought was supposed to be released last winter. This single that will be on their album just does not seem to sound like their usual sound. Their usual sound seems to go between being heavy rock with some yelling or extremely sweet and romantic and catchy. This does have yelling but I would not exactly call it their rock sound. The lyrics seem to be uplifting which is not surprising of them because they use their music to try and send out a message which I admire. This one just may sound a bit more main stream from these Danish as f*** guys (and Louis Vecchio).

Blurryface Release

Twenty One Pilots just released their new album, Blurryface, a couple days early! I know that I have been excited to hear this album because of how much I love their fun and unique sound and the singles that they had been releasing sounded amazing! If you have not yet taken an ear to their new album, don't miss out!

Blindside - Hunter Hunted

I am a big fan of Hunter Hunted. They had a pretty unique Indie sound but this new song that just came out today, Blindside, has taken on a much more common and pop-like sound. It's the first single that they have released from their album that will be coming out soon. This song is still catchy and great and with this new sound, has a much better chance of getting played on the radio. The synthetic sounds actually pick up a sound that slightly reminds me of some Passion Pit songs. It's a wonderful song with and upbeat tempo.

Down To The Market - The Kooks

This guitar wins the song. I love the chillness in the voice of the lead singer, Luke Pritchard. I actually love this song more than the song that they are known for, Naive. The chorus wins it over even though that other one is a classic. The rhyming metaphor is just catchy and has a pleasant tone.

Like People, Like Plastic - AWOLNATION

The "la la la" wins me over right off the bat. Of course, Aaron Bruno has to scream in his typical way and I'd be disappointed if he did otherwise. It turns into beautiful screaming in a way if that sounds possible. It has this smooth, swinging beat that is roughed up instead of being chilled with his heavy voice. This song comes off of AWOLNATION's new album, Run

Hoodie On - Matt And Kim

This beat pops hard. It's one of the coolest new beats that Matt and Kim have dropped! It basically also sums me up. There isn't really any good reason to wear more than your favorite hoodie. It basically has a smooth popping beat that forces its listeners to head bob which seems to go on with the sound. The lyric videos by them are always fun to watch.

The Griswolds Concert Review

 Lead singer, Chris Whitehall
 Bassist, Tim John

 Guitar and keyboard, Daniel Duquesne-Perez
The Griswolds rock! They are a band composed of four lovable Australian guys who make some of the greatest and some of the best music I have heard. I love their lead singer, Chris Whitehall because he is just pure fun and has style that rocks as the WALK THE MOON fans could tell as from his WALK THE MOON tights. I think we should take the cue from him and start using more "sentence enhancers" like him and by that I mean you should be saying "fucking" as an adjective at least once in each sentence. Of course it was Lachlan's birthday, as it is every night. They started out the show strong by walking out to Gangster's Paradise by Coolio and kicking the show off with 16 Years which was upbeat enough to get everyone into them. While playing Mississippi, Whitehall takes encouraging the crowd to song along to a new level by dangling his microphone over the crowd. He doesn't joke around when he wants his fans voices to be heard. They played about ten wonderful songs of theirs and everyone was sad to see them go. I'll admit that I was sad that they didn't get to play all of their songs but that's because all of their songs are my favorite songs and they only miss out on playing a couple. I was actually surprised that they ended with Heart of a Lion rather than Beware the Dog (which was played second to last) because even if you don't know who they are yet, you might have heard Beware the Dog because it has a fun tempo and everyone wants an excuse to scream at the top of their lungs that someone's fucking crazy. Heart of a Lion makes sense for these guys because it comes from their original EP and just feels like it has become their theme song even if it's not the most popular one. The Griswolds just put on a great and fun filled show and if you haven't seen them yet, whether they're opening for WALK THE MOON or headlining on their new EXCELLENT ADVENTURE TOUR, go for any chance you can see them because you'll never forget it!

Hallelujah - Panic! at the Disco

Panic! at the Disco released a new single last week! The beginning has a great intro with the old times trumpets that sound like a typical styling of Panic! at the Disco that then blow up into a slow burn of a song. It seems to be different from the last album that they had released and gone back to an older version of Panic!. The song seems to blend together and just whir but the chorus lyrics do call for a dance because all people who dance these days are sinners.

Modern Love - Coasts

Coasts released a new single this morning that shares the same name as their new EP, Modern Love. it sounds like their other music in the way that it has a beachy tune but strong guitar that makes it rock out instead of relaxing. The music video is filmed and cut together artistically including all of the band members but mostly their lead singer. The song has a sense of a rebellious teen spirit and mixes well with the video.

Give Me A Try - The Wombats

This song is familiar to their usual sound and released just a little bit before The Wombat's deluxe album version of Glitterbug. The best lyric has to be that "we could be gigantic" because that's what people end up thinking every time they get into a relationship. Dive in head first,  I love the music video for the wonderfully comedic take on how weird browsing tinder can be. I'm pretty sure that this may be accurate that only one out of four tinder dates go well. Or at least, the first.

Portugal - WALK THE MOON

The synthetic sounds in the beginning are a great pop to their music. I love the sound right before the lyrics start that just reminds me of a carnival game. the slow chorus lyrics are really sweet and a lot of the lyrics are actually quite interesting. I love the slow down because especially then the lyrics hold meaning of how you can not just sit back and hope you get what you want in your life. if there is something out there that you want, go for it!
I am so excited to be seeing WALK THE MOON this Friday on their Talking Is Hard tour!

Mississippi - The Griswolds

Mississippi is from The Griswolds' EP, Heart Of A Lion and it has their more original sound before they became more involve with some synth-based sounds. I love this one because it has a slow tempo yet carries over a strong beat with a lot of fun. The music video is great because of how psychedelic it is and random. It just shows how laid back the band is and how much fun they have at music festivals.
I'm excited to be seeing these guys play this coming Friday!

Rebel Hill - Vinyl Thief

This song always has a beginning that makes me forget how amazing the rest of the song is. It has a great keyboard sound that sounds pure in a way but constantly refreshes the song. It comes in and out so that the song does not exactly sound as long as it actually is because of the changing of styles and echoing sound.

On Fire - Loon Lake

This guitar rocks. When you do not understand what the lyrics are sayiong the first time, "shoop" is life. This tune is killer and the vocals are fitting for how rough the guitar is. Somehow, one could take these lyrics of a girl being on fire and not being put out and relate it to "shortie fire burnin' on the dancefloor". Enjoy prom this weekend, everyone!

Tear In My Heart - Twenty One Pilots

Start. Stop. Start. Stop. And then it takes it away with pretty lyrics and a sweet piano and drum rhythm. It has a sort of classic sound because of the piano that takes you back in time but not too far back. Of course his lyrics are romantic but takes a turn for just a little teen rebellion before turning back to the sweetness. The setting is pretty interesting in China Town and the Twenty One Pilots fans are going wild with the appearance of lead singer, Tyler Joseph's wife, Jenna.

Come A Little Closer - Cage The Elephant

Come A Little Closer is a classic to me. It's a sweet mash up of sound with an interesting voice. It doesn't just follow the same feel and varies it up. The chorus is just all too inviting to try and yell the lyrics as well as  but we all seem to fail in approaching the same level of talent as Matt Schultz. Please don't even get me started on this video. It is just so crazy and psychedelic and gives it an old feeling. I'm excited to see these guys at Firefly Music Festival in June. I've read things about their performance there in the past and the only complaint I see is that there are a ton of crowd surfers. If that's the case this year, I volunteer as tribute if anyone sees me.

Fairly Local - Twenty One Pilots

A new Twenty One Pilots song was released last week called Fairly Local and it is great. The song intro is amazing yet gives off a slight oriental feeling but this song is spooky. It has a phantom feeling. The lead singer, Tyler Joseph, has a great tempo that breaks down into a deep-voiced rap that just invites us to make this song popular enough to be played on the radio just to ruin those lyrics. This music video is interesting. It may revolutionize teenage girls from singing into their hair brush in their bedrooms and instead sing into their lamps and light bulbs. I've had to basically recite Fairly Local's chorus before but usually whenever I get people lost in the local tourist city that I never actually go to.

Album of the Week - American Beauty/American Psycho - Fall Out Boy

Fall Out Boy keeps to their promise and continues to make music that is relative to our time and still makes it hard to sit still. It's constantly progressing and keeping up with what is cool. Or maybe anything they make is just cool at any time. They do a wonderful job of using old music samples such as the Munsters theme in Uma Thurman. Their music easily gets itself stuck in your head but the good part is that you're not going to be all that pissed or annoyed about it replaying in your head. While this album isn't exactly rainbows and sunshine, it still has the energy to lift you up out of the dumps. Even on those days where your catch phrase seems to become a sarcastic "smooth" that you say after all twenty times of dropping your phone, and on those days when your friend stops answering your texts but keeps reading them because apparently their phone had been stolen and you've just been texting their robber this week. For particular songs in the album to listen to besides the singles that had been released earlier, I suggest listening to Novocaine, Fourth Of July, and Jet Pack Blues.

Knock Knock Knock - Spoon

This is a song from Spoon's newer album. They have a fail rely consistent style so of you're a fan, you obviously know what you like. The popping beat is a great mix up underplaying their acoustic sound in this song. Although there isn't a ton of different overlays, this song does give me the feeling that it is a mindfuck. In a good way.

Angel of Small Death and the Codeine - Hozier

This song has such strong lyrics that it belongs in prayer books. Hozier puts meaning into his songs. I haven't found any covers but I assume it's because Hozier has the type of voice that makes anyone jealous. This Irishmen has one hell of a voice.

Are You Who You Want To Be? - Foster The People

This song starts off as an already cool yet drowned out song and builds on top of it to the awesomeness you hear throughout. The lyrics are sung in such a way that my brain just gives up on trying to interpret it and writes it down as Spanish that I don't understand. I don't know why. The most clear lyric is "Are you what you want to be?" That may be because it's the song title though. Foster The People always seems to deliver with awesome synth based sound that makes me just want to rock out.

Right on Track - The Griswolds

Today, The Griswolds released a new music video with the support of #JDFutureLegends. This song is an awesome waterfall of mesmerizing synths. The lyrics are just about going after your dreams no matter what is in your way. This music video looked like lots of fun to film a party on a boat. It's the perfect amount of showing them playing the music, party time, and a little entertaining story with all of them transforming from business dudes to cool dudes. And who threw a boat party and didn't invite me?

Dance Hall - Modest Mouse

This song is great because it just has that f**k everything feeling. We're going to Dance Hall. Problem? I thought not. The singer sounds aggressive and there aren't that many lyrics but did there need to be anymore? It still managed to get you to tap your foot. It's that infectious.

Somebody Told Me - The Killers

Somebody Told Me is a classic that no one can get over. This is a song that could not possibly get old. The sound is fast and the chorus is almost a tongue twisting puzzle. All I can say, this guy is winning the breakup and letting his ex know. I can only hope to have something as awesome to say to an ex when I see them. This is for all those people who tried to tell me that they've never heard it before! Please stop listening to country for one second cause you're beginning to miss out on some actual good music!

Sidekick - WALK THE MOON

Hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine's day! Or Galentine's day! Or Dudentine's day! (Please tell me that's a thing.) This guitar is just screaming prepare for a good time cause that's what you're about to get. The synthesized sounds WALK THE MOON uses are great. I love the new sound they went for on their new album. This song is  about getting out of the friend zone, at least that's the impression the lyrics give me. I'm sorry, but no one could friend zone any of the guys in WALK THE MOON.

EP of the Week - Raw Fabrics - Gold Handcuffs

EP of the week is Gold Handcuffs by Raw Fabrics. Raw Fabrics is the type of band that is bringing back a slightly aged type of rock. Their lead singer, Jack Franco, has the type of voice that turns off some but draws some in like me. He's entertaining and puts his attitude into his song. Their background rifts are some of the best and catchiest choruses I have heard. They're 100% worth a listen as they're an up and coming band. Their music videos are interesting and symbolic. Definitely watch Down the Drain and Pissin' on the Dancefloor. Their other great song is Gold Handcuffs, mostly because now I say "oh my god" a little bit more than I should.

The Griswolds' Commentary on Be Impressive Release

This week, The Griswolds released their commentary on their album Be Impressive on Spotify. I'm Good - The Mowglis

Band of the Week - Art Brut

Art Brut is a British band that sings with a heavy accent and deep voice that almost makes it sound like he doesn't care so much, he's not even singing. And I love very bit of it! Besides the vocals, their sound seems to be a more classic rock sound with fun repetition. Art Brut sometimes have comedic lyrics that always kept me entertained and always seems to be able to put a smile on my face no matter how many times I've heard the song before. The songs I suggest listening to are Moving to L.A., Modern Art and My Little Brother.

All The Boys - Panic! at the Disco

This is apparently the only song from Panic! At the Disco that was written entirely by Dallon Weekes. It was not released on their newest album, Too Weird To Live, Too Rare To Die but is definitely worth the listen. It sounds like Panic!'s new music but also reminds me of some older work such as The Brobecks, especially with the theme going on in the lyrics. Maybe the only reason that it did not make it on the cd was that the lyrics were kind of similar to Girls/Girls/Boys in how everyone loves this girl regardless of gender.

Caveman - SomeKindaWonderful

This beat. Oh hell yes. Literally every time I hear this song, I eargasm. It's just that good. Allow me to tell you a story. Now one day, I was to an event that had been moved up by two hours so that I would be late for some reason. Normally, I'm a chill driver but on this day, I was speeding quite fast. While I was speeding, a car with two old women in it passed me and then cut me off so close that I had to slam my breaks so they wouldn't collide with me. Then they proceeded to slow down to twenty miles under the speed limit. I assumed that they were just bad drivers, so I just passed them at my own speed. Except then they did it again, which made me assume they were idiots. By the third time they did it, the game was on. They road raged and tried to race me the whole drive. We would hit red lights where they would just sit beside me while both gave me the middle finger. I did not return the favor. (First of all, I was outnumbered by middle fingers.) I simply played this song as loud as possible. It has the kind of bass that can drive people crazy and just kinky enough lyrics for old women to assume that you as a listener, are a filth bag. I'm sorry I used this song as a weapon but it is such a great party song I don't see how it's not played more often. And as for those old women? They ran a red light eventually, but that's not my problem.

Wanted - Nick D' & the Believers

Nick D' & the Believers just released another new EP this week called Wanted, named after the first song in the EP. It starts off with a smooth dancey tune. Nick D's songs never allow you to sit still. They are always good fun. The echo in their voices is a new flavor in their music that forces you to sway with their lyrics. This is only one song from the EP though, listen to the rest because this is just a great band.

Love in the Middle of a Firefight - Dillon Francis (feat. Brendon Urie)

The beat is so soft and sweet and irresistible. Brendon Urie's voice is also irresistible. It sounds a lot more pop but it's to a level that those pop haters out there will most likely not kill me for posting this. (I hope.) It's slow but the chorus sounds like he's screaming it from the top of a burning building. If you're having to scream your chorus from the top of a burning building, your firefight escalated too quickly and now you have to call a real fireman.

Karaoke - Smallpools

Smallpools released their new music video for Karaoke this week. The beginning sounds like a massive stadium full of adoring fans giving it a massive build up that turns into a much cooler sound than usual. The beat is too strong to resist dancing to it. The bridge of the piano soothes your ears from all that awesomeness. In my head, the massive guitar sounds like a chainsaw and the cute piano tones sound like shooting stars. The music video is cool. I just really want to know what happened to all those mannequins after filming. Also, I'm just upset that I was not invited to this party because i would have just sat there asking myself how much pot I smoked.

Somebody to Someone - Halfway To Hollywood

Halfway To Hollywood is quirky and sweet band that kind of reminds me of an innocent version of All Time Low. It has a low beat and the lead singer, Grant Walker, has a smooth voice. The chimes lift up the song from the deep tones it had before falling into the chorus that picks up the quick dance beat. They really sound like a boy band and should have no trouble catching listeners as their sound is uplifting.

Middle of the Night - Vinyl Thief

The multiple voices are dreamy and pull you down to the light beat that feels like a current. I have a feeling that the back noises are hypnotic. The first few times I heard this song, it didn't make an impression on me until I heard myself singing it. The chorus is simple enough to lodge itself deep into your head. This song will catch you without you knowing but once it has you, you won't want it to let go.

Tonight - Magic Man

Magic Man just released a new music video for their fabulous song Tonight. It's made of clips from their performances while they were on tour with Smallpools. It's entertaining and adorable just like the people in the video. This song is a good time song. Alex Caplow sings with a sweet voice among the strong bass and amazing electro sounds of their usual styling. I look forward to seeing more of Magic Man in the future.

Greek Tragedy - The Wombats

The Wombats just released a new song this week called Greek Tragedy and there is already a video. The tones of something smooth and calm are mixed with the rapid sounds of drums. The guitar spins it all together and brings out a new sound. Ok. This music video is really creepy. What makes it better is that the girl is filming most of it so it's kind of like the Blair Witch Project except we're stalking these guys. The first half is just creepy but the last minute is around when that parental advisory checks in and gets gruesomely fun.

Words - Brendan Ciccone

Brendan Ciccone's song is smooth and beautiful. The guitar is light and the drums are calming. His singing is sweet and non intrusive. This song may not be really catchy but it's sound catches my attention. His lyrics are poetic and the song is simple but has a catch where the detail in the guitar sings out.

Run Boy - Hey River

Holy crap this song is catchy! Put it on repeat and go for a jog. "I still hear you, Hey River! I won't stop! I'm still running!" Great motivation. This song is just too adorable. If it doesn't make you say "aww" under your breath at least once, you're doing it wrong. The music video is funny though. My favorite part is the cat. The most awkward part is when I watched this for the first time, I left the room and someone else started watching it and I came in to see the girl dancing in her underwear and asked what happened to my music video. "This is the music video you had playing." Ok.

Uma Thurman - Fall Out Boy

These awesome songs by Fall Out Boy just keep appearing again and again and each one is better than the last. When this album comes out, it'll be just amazing. This song made me look up Uma Thurman and how there's a dance. So yeah. You people out there won't feel awkward when you hit the dance floor and say to yourselves "I really like this song but I don't know how to move my body correctly to show how much I appreciate it. I wish it was like the Cupid Shuffle in how it ould tell me how to move..." My absolute favorite part of this song is the beachy tune that they seem to mix in so well that it wakes you up amidst their usual great styling.

Band of the Week - Bear Hands

Bear Hands is the Band of the Week as they have a unique sound. The lead singer, Dylan Rau uses his voice in a lot of whispering as he talks fast and the lyrics are witty. You may have heard their songs Agora and Giants (if you haven't, here are the links for Giants and Agora already reviewed on my site). Their newest album, Distraction, has a more modern sound to fit what's popular this year while keeping their interesting and own kind of party style. Their other album, Burning Bush Supper Club, has a really neat sound. I suggest listening to their songs The BugCrime Pays, and What a Drag.

Bike Ride - The Brobecks

This song makes ya turn up!!! No, seriously, it's so soft it's hard to hear. You can hear it but I always end up cranking it cause it deserves to be heard loud. The main chorus is extremely catchy and so fun to sing along to. The reason it may be so soft could be to go with the lyric "Well I know you can't hear me too well the TV is up too loud". Could someone please turn off that TV he is talking about? I like my jams. The chorus is pretty awesome. I know when I'm in hell, I would want to tell everyone. The people that care are often the people that can't help though. But the one that can change will not either. Because here's a piece of advice, if there's a person causing problems in your life, and you find out that they are stupid, beware. Because stupid will be too stupid to change.

Thanks For Nothing - The Downtown Fiction

There is literally so much sass in this song that it's so fabulous. There could not have been any other better way of wording those emotions. The straight up not dancing around the bush and just outright saying how you feel is what makes this song beautiful and it should be everyone's theme song. Maybe lately it's been running through my head a little too often but when there is someone you see every day who likes to try to get everyone's attention just to publicly embarrass you, they better remember they started it when they have to cry about their new found problems and pains. What goes around comes around, especially to rude b****es.

She's a Devil - Fire & the Romance

This melodic and mesmerizing piano tune that starts the song hypnotizes you into listening to the mysterious story that Fire & the Romance spins in She's a Devil. The drum beat is interesting and jigging for a good dance beat. The lead singer, Dion Roy, sings this song with a low and mysterious voice that pulls you in even further. The guitar starting brings in a light to this darkening and mysterious song. The music video is interesting with their scene star, Alexa Poletti. The beginning scene with the friend getting rufied is great because it shows that sometimes girls can be jerks too. The whole mind game is great and Alexa Poletti just adds an entire cute factor to the video. All I could think of when I saw those glow rings was how many cereal boxes she must have had to buy to get that many flashlight rings.

Irresistible - Fall Out Boy

This song starts off with trumpets sounding victory that then lead into a tune that makes it jump forward into now. This song feels like badassery. If you've ever been a badass, this was your theme song whether you knew it or not. The long notes in the chorus is where it catches you into its excitement. The breakdowns in the song are in just the right places that it gives you a break from the constant awesomeness that you may otherwise become too used to. I actually do also love the masochistic themes in the lyrics. The lyrics "I still love the way you hurt me, baby" are interesting in particular to me. And as always, a salute to their drummer, Andy Hurley, for continuing to have a great beat that carries the song on its shoulders and giving it the back bone that makes it an awesome rock song.

EP of the Week - Misterwives EP - Misterwives

This EP has a unique and thrilling sound. They have an amazing sound that just sounds like a good time. They have an upbeat theme with some pleasant electro sounds. Their lead singer, Mandy Lee, has an amazing voice that is especially flaunted in the beginning of Reflections. It is so light and pretty and you learn to appreciate how talented she is whenever the song comes on in your car and every passenger makes their attempt. No one I know has even come close to her talent and I know a couple people who pass out their head shots to every one they meet looking for a manager in the music world. There are people who got it and people who don't and Misterwives has got it. I look forward to seeing more of their music.

Album of the Week - Who Will Cut Our Hair When We're Gone? - The Unicorns

Album of the Week is Who Will Cut Our Hair When We're Gone? by The Unicorns. This album may be old but i's still good. The Unicorns have a nice sense of humor in their lyrics and song placement especially since their first dong in the album is I Don't Wanna Die and the last one is called Ready to Die. They have a certain way of making their music chill yet also at the same time makes you just want to rock out. I love all the titles of their songs involving ghosts and unicorns and death. It just makes them easier to remember. Of course I suggest for you to listen to I Was Born (A Unicorn) but I also suggest Jellybones and Ready to Die.

Be Impressive - The Griswolds

The chanting of the children is just too catchy in a completely non creepy way. The style of The Griswolds is just too much fun. I've heard this song played at parties and everyone just chants along to the kids because we can't really tell what the rest of the song is saying but just be impressive. This song does succeed in being impressive as does this band.
